MODITECH history started on May 2006 with its primary activities in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of steam turbine, dynamic balancing, troubleshooting, fabrication and packaging. With its eyes set on the ever growing demand in steam turbine, the company started to set foot on supplying spare parts, alternator, and gear box which are essential for the turbine end users. Most of these parts are imported well known brand from Asia, Europe and America such as Hyundai Heavy Industries (Korea), Stamford (UK), Leroy Somer (France), Marelli Motori (Italy), Renk (Germany), Formosa Heavy Industries (Taiwan), Flender Graffenstaden (France) and Lufkin / Treveni (India) to name a few.

In 2008, MODITECH dared the leap and was appointed as Engecrol Manufacturer’s Sales Representative for Sales and Service of their range of steam turbines and turbo-alternators in South East Asia and South Asia. In the same year, MODITECH took another giant leap in setting up a branch office and workshop with their main activities in technical support, maintenance, repair and overhaul steam turbine for end users in East Malaysia. This will eventually be a stepping stone for MODITECH to stretched its arms further.

The seeds that have been sow with hard work from few years ago had bear fruits, as of 2010 MODITECHhad successfully installed, commission and hand-over ten units, mostly multi-stage steam turbines generating set range from 1,500kw to 10,000kw.

In 2010, MODITECH has changed its name to ENGECROL MODITECH (ASIA PACIFIC) SDN BHD.

The ambitious management team, engineers and technicians of ENGECROL MODITECH has never stopped here, and are always determined to look forward for future growth.
